Thanks to its floor to ceiling windows, each room is bathed in natural light, while the high ceilings improve the potential for natural ventilation.
Located in Soi Samsen 5, the guest house's biggest room is afforded plenty of natural light through windows facing the quiet soi. A small courtyard in the center is surrounded by all  three rooms and while the largest room doesn't have a window looking out over the courtyard, the smaller rooms do.

Cause for consideration

On arrival at Samsen 5 Lodge, guests receive some useful information about the 'green' ideals that underpin the concept. Members of staff point out that turning on lights during the daytime is unnecessary, particularly in public areas, such as the dining room and reading area. You'll also be encouraged to consider carefully whether or not you really need to switch on the air conditioner when residing in your room.

Despite these pointers and awareness-raising efforts, all Samsen 5 Lodge's rooms still include all the regular amenities you would expect, including a private refrigerated bar, an air conditioner, cable TV, a security deposit box, key card room access, along with free hi-speed Internet access. samsen-01.jpg

The guest house's three rooms differ both in terms of size and type.

The largest room features a king-sized bed and a long bench with cushions. The latter could possibly be utilized as an extra bed for accompanying children, if required. samsen-02.jpg
