David G. Thomson will summarize his recently released book Blueprint to a Billion: 7 Essentials to Achieve Exponential Growth (John Wiley & Sons Publishing) in about one hour, while delivering related stories, anecdotes, and facts to complement the book presentation.

Based on three years of detailed research of American companies that have listed via an initial public offering (IPO) since 1980 and grown to at least US$1 billion in revenue, Thomson's book provides the first quantitative identification of the success patterns common across this distinctive group of 'blueprint' companies. During the research period, Thomson presented early findings to over 1,000 Fortune 500 executives, small company CEOs, and investors to test his findings and gain even further insight.

Since being published in January 2006, this book is its fourth printing. Sound View Book Summaries identified Blueprint to a Billion as being one of 'the best business books of 2006'.
